Jack And Jill
Jack & Jill throws forensic psychologist and Detective Alex Cross into a high-stakes investigation in Washington D.C. after a series of brutal, seemingly unrelated murders rock the city's elite. The first victims are high-profile celebrities, quickly followed by the murder of a powerful congressman, bringing the threat close to the White House (as depicted on the cover). The killers, or killer duo, are dubbed "Jack and Jill" for their cryptic, taunting signatures left at the crime scenes.
Cross must race against time to create a psychological profile of the elusive, narcissistic killers before they strike again, potentially targeting the highest levels of American government. The investigation is intensely personal for Cross, testing his limits as he navigates political pressure, bureaucratic hurdles, and the terrifying realization that the killers are becoming increasingly unpredictable and desperate.
