The Phanton of the Opera

Gaston Leroux - Personal Name;

Set beneath the magnificent Paris Opéra House in the 1880s, the story follows the mysterious events surrounding the beautiful young soprano, Christine Daaé. The chaos is the work of the Phantom, a disfigured musical genius named Erik, who lives in the labyrinthine cellars of the opera house.

Obsessed with Christine, the Phantom secretly tutors her, transforming her into a star while terrorizing the opera staff and demanding payment. When Christine's childhood friend and suitor, Raoul, attempts to rescue her, the Phantom kidnaps Christine and forces her into a terrible choice: marry him or witness the death of Raoul. The climax is a tragic confrontation that exposes the Phantom's agonizing loneliness and profound capacity for both cruelty and sorrow.
